One of the things that I love about film is the unpredictability of how it might develop. I have the ability to frame a photograph exactly how I want it, to adjust the light, and press the shutter. After that, it's all out of my hands. When a photograph develops funky, or doesn't quite come out looking right it's always little heartbreaking. When a photograph comes out exactly the way you saw it through the view finder or even better, it's an exhilarating moment. I've gone through a fair amount of instant film this year.
