Camera Buying Guide

600 Square Cameras

Any Condition - $25

We will buy these and similar models in any* condition for $25 each.

*In the case that the camera is severely damaged (missing whole pieces like the flash unit or film door, enormous cracks, infested with bugs, totally rusted out on the inside, etc.) we reserve the right to downgrade the price of your camera to our general “parts” price of $10.

600 Impulse AF Cameras

Grade A - $25

Grade B - $10

NOT BUYING NON-AUTOFOCUS

We will purchase any Impulse that has an autofocus feature.  If your camera has the gold circle below the flash and is in free from scratches, cracks, and scuffs, we will purchase it! 

If your camera has scratches, scuffs, cracks, carvings, or chips, we will buy it for $10.  If you aren’t sure about the grade, we can assess it upon arrival, or please send us photos.

600 Express Cameras

Grade A - $25

Grade B - $10

For Express cameras, cosmetic condition matters. We will buy your scratch-free, crack-free, scuff-free Expresses for $25 each. If your camera has any of the following: scratches, scuffs, cracks, carvings, chips, we will buy it for $10 each. If you aren’t sure if your camera is A or B-grade, we can grade it upon arrival or you can send us photos.

Express cameras must have fully intact handles to be A-grade. Broken handles on Express automatically qualifies as B-grade.

600 Special Cameras

Grade A - $30

Grade B - $25

Look for wear on the red corners of the faceplate. If the corners are black, the camera is B-grade.

Grade A - $75

Camera must be A-grade.

Grade A - $35

Grade B - $25

Look for cracks up by the flash. If there are cracks in the flashcover, the camera is B-grade.

Grade A - $45

Grade B - $25

Look for wear in the paint on Taz’s nose and teeth. Worn off paint will make the camera B-grade.

Grade A - $35

Grade B - $25

If the camera has stickers or fade marks from stickers, or a broken handle, it is automatically B-grade.

Grade A - $35

If the camera has stickers or fade-marks from stickers, it is automatically B-grade.

600/SX-70 Folding Cameras

SX-70 Original

Grade A - $65

Grade B - $50

Grade C - $25

You will know it’s an original because it will have a chrome body and tan skins. Condition of leather does not affect grade of camera. Help me find my camera’s grade.

SX-70 Model 3

Grade A - $25

Grade C - Not Buying

You will know it’s a Model 3 because it will have a black body, brown skins, and will say “Model 3” on the film door sticker. It is the only model that has an acrylic piece for the viewfinder. Condition of leather does not affect grade of camera.

You will know it’s a Sonar Chrome because it has the gold sonar circle on top, a chrome body, and black skins.
