Turn heads with this Sony Walkman WM-FX251 cassette player and vintage-inspired orange headphones. Take a break from digital media and live in the moment. Rewind, fast-forward, flip the tape, watch it spin. Listen to an album all the way through. Slow down and embrace the analog experience that is music on magnetic tape.
If you're getting into cassette tapes for the first time or revisiting an old music format, do it on a Sony Walkman for consistent, reliable audio performance. The WM-FX251 also includes a tested and working radio, allowing you to seamlessly switch between NPR and The Clash with the flip of a switch.
This WM-FX251 has been completely disassembled and inspected by our team of skilled technicians. The drive belts, idler tires and pinch wheels have all been replaced. The playback speed has been painstakingly calibrated, the volume potentiometer has been deoxidized and the tapehead has been clean and demagnetized. All outer housings have also been polished.
Please note this little player had an entire life before Retrospekt. It will show signs of previous usage, but it is guaranteed to be working, clean, and restored.
What is a B-Grade?
B-grade cassette players have been refurbished by our team and are fully tested and functional. However, they may not be in the best cosmetic condition and will feature some combination of scuffs, paint chips and other imperfections. While they may not be ready for the meticulous collector, they still work great and they still deserve love. So we're selling them at a discounted rate!
The B-grade cassette player pictured is the exact item you will receive. This specific cassette player has a small crack by its DC input. Please reference all photos for an accurate depiction of the item's condition.
