The Nickelodeon PhotoBlaster (Long Hall Technologies model N6800) is a compact "kid's" camera manufactured from 1997 through 1999. Everything about it screams TOY! With its purple body, slime green handgrip and big red shutter release button, this camera was designed for fun. Some toy cameras try to look "serious — this magnificent machine makes no such pretenses.
What makes this camera so unique is its ability to shoot four separate pictures on one standard 35mm frame. That means that you can fit up to 96 pictures on a 24 exposure roll or up to 144 pictures on a 36 exposure roll! Technically, it’s a multi-lens half-frame camera that shoots two pictures on each half frame. Because this camera is almost entirely plastic, it's very light and regardless of its odd shape. It's also surprisingly comfortable to hold. Next to the shutter release button, you'll notice the sci-fi-styled transparent hemispherical frame counter that goes up to 144. The camera also has a built-in flash that recycles quickly. It has fixed focus, fixed shutter, and fixed aperture, meaning all you have to worry about is FUN!
As an authentic vintage item, each unit is unique and may exhibit light cosmetic wear consistent with previous use. Minor variations in appearance, materials, markings and design details are common and reflect differences in age, production and original manufacturing. As a result, your item may differ slightly from the photos shown.
