My father was a photographer, and this was one of his cameras. It was the first camera I ever took a picture with. It hasn't worked since 1991 or 1992. My mom unearthed it (and a OneStep from 1992, the camera she bought to replace this one) earlier this year. Retrospekt did an incredible repair job on my Mint-modded SLR-680 last year, so I immediately sent these very sentimental cameras in for repair. They landed in the hands of Nikki, who did an absolutely incredible job of restoring the cameras. The Sun 660 feels and operates like new (the eye cup and strap are new), and shooting with it is like a using a long-dormant muscle memory. (The OneStep will be a gift for my brother, but I'm sure it is just as excellent.) Thanks for everything. Retrospekt will always be my first turn for Polaroid repairs.
Quick delivery and the packaging was very well thought out! The VHS tape came in mint condition but i was more impressed with the packaging, lol. There's no way a VHS tape could be damaged with that kind of packaging, bravo! It made me comfortable to order from you guys in the future!
Nice accessory to have! Doesn't seem to stay in super securely though. Not sure if it's the same with all of them.
This thing is pretty great despite it almost being 50 years old.. this is great and will continue to use it. Only problem? I dont got enough cassetes! But they coming.

Chrome pre-recorded tapes. Ha! It sounded like a scam. Boy I was a wrong. I received exactly what I ordered: 5 pre-recorded chrome tapes with excellent sound quality. Four classical Beethoven recordings and one live jazz blues performance by an unknown band that just sizzles. I can't wait for the next batch to be made available, I am sold!
I got this with a Polaroid 600 and another pack of film and a carrying case for the camera and Polaroid photo album all as a set for my granddaughters 14th birthday and she is absolutely in love with all of it!!! It all works perfectly. She has a love of vintage cameras and photography so this was the perfect gift for her thank you sooo much you get alllllll the stars in the world!!!!

Arrived quickly and was in better condition than described! It even included two AA batteries, so I was able to immediately start playing it. I've been using it almost every day and so far, so good. I lost my old Sony discman and wanted a replacement so hopefully this one can last me for many years to come.
I found this camera at a resell shop and let me tell you. It was dirty, there was some corrosion on the inside, the flash was taking awhile to charge, the ejection motor sounded like it was on its last legs... so I sent it in as I wanted to give this camera a new life. Since its come back and ive taken it out shooting a few times im convinced this camera will probably out last me now!! They have done a fantastic job and it was a surprisingly fast turn around too!
