A Civil Action (1998) is a legal drama directed by Steven Zaillian, based on Jonathan Harr’s nonfiction book. The film stars John Travolta as Jan Schlichtmann, a personal injury lawyer who takes on a case involving two major corporations accused of contaminating the water supply in Woburn, Massachusetts, leading to fatal cases of leukemia. As the case progresses, Schlichtmann becomes obsessed, risking his career and finances. The cast includes Robert Duvall, William H. Macy, Tony Shalhoub, and Kathleen Quinlan. The film was nominated for two Academy Awards: Best Supporting Actor (Duvall) and Best Cinematography.

For Disney clamshell releases, cases will either be fully intact or replaced with a brand-new clamshell when necessary.
We're picky about condition, cleanliness and collectibility, and only offer tapes we'd be happy to add to our own shelves. While vintage media may show some age-related wear, we do our best to ensure every VHS tape arrives clean, complete and ready for movie night.
