Released in 2022, Alvvays' Blue Rev moves through fuzzed-out jangle pop, romantic fatalism and sugar-rush guitar hooks, presented here on CD with the texture and pacing intact. "Pharmacist", "Belinda Says" and "After the Earthquake" are the standout cuts, but the atmosphere is what makes the release hold together.
