Anastasia VHS Tape

Anastasia (1956) is a historical drama directed by Anatole Litvak and starring Ingrid Bergman, Yul Brynner and Helen Hayes. The film follows an opportunistic businessman who tries to pass off a mysterious impostor as the Grand Duchess Anastasia, and she is so convincing that even the biggest skeptics believe her. Notable for its exploration of identity and deception, the film is based on Marcelle Maurette's 1952 play, which was inspired by the story of Anna Anderson, one of several women who claimed to be the surviving daughter of Russia's last Tsar.
