Asahi Pentax KM 35mm SLR Film Camera
The Asahi Pentax KM, produced from the mid-1970s, is a classic all-mechanical 35mm SLR that shares much of its design DNA with the legendary Pentax K1000 — but with a few added features that make it stand out for shooters who like a bit more control. The KM offers depth-of-field preview and a self-timer, which the K1000 lacks, while keeping the same rugged, no-nonsense build that made Pentax student cameras famous. Many photographers appreciate the KM today for its bright, easy-to-use match-needle meter and full manual exposure, making it a perfect choice for learning the fundamentals of photography without distractions.
