Asahi Pentax SV 35mm SLR Film Camera
The Asahi Pentax SV is a classic 35mm SLR film camera known for its clean design, mechanical reliability and solid metal construction. Released in the early 1960s, it offers fully manual operation with a bright viewfinder and compatibility with M42 screw-mount lenses. This kit includes a sharp 55mm f/2.0 SMC Takumar lens and an additional 135mm f/2.8 Accura/Sigma telephoto lens—ideal for portraits or reaching a bit further. The SV doesn’t have a built-in light meter, but it comes with a detachable Pentax meter for added flexibility. With shutter speeds from 1 to 1/1000 second plus bulb mode, and ISO settings from 6 to 1600, this camera is made for those who appreciate simplicity, control and the tactile joy of analog photography.
