The quality of these tapes impressed me. I find they are effective at making type 2 (chrome) tapes redundant, which is useful because it's hard to find them new. These Fox C60 sound great even without bias fine tuning. They can absorb high levels, they give great bass and treble and there's not much background noise. My only faults are minor: the J card is a cheap and flimsy and the sticky labels don't fit the tape very well.

Very fast shipping, well-packed, and great prices. Will definitely be returning for future tape needs :)

They’re alright. I thought they were high bias type two’s but alas I misread. My confusion notwithstanding, they’re expensive for type 1 cassettes. The price was on par with type 2, which isn’t great since usually type 2 are expensive roughly $4-8 a piece, which your website sells type 1 for. Type 1 is less durable and has a shorter lifespan than type 2. I’m still happy to record straight to two track on type 1, but multitracking is fuzzy and muffled which can have its own aesthetic but I prefer using type 2 in my 4-track as I think they sound better, cleaner but still with cassette character. Anyway, get some type 2’s.
