The Canon TL is a solid, no-nonsense 35mm SLR film camera introduced in the mid-1960s, built with a fully mechanical shutter and classic Canon craftsmanship. Designed for simplicity and reliability, it features manual exposure controls and an M42 screw mount, making it compatible with a wide range of lenses. With its all-metal body and timeless styling, the TL is a great entry point for film photography or a dependable companion for seasoned shooters who appreciate fully manual control and vintage charm. Please note the lever on the front of the camera is not a self timer. It is the meter on/off switch, and operates by pushing towards the lens.
