Encino Man (1992) is a teen comedy directed by Les Mayfield and starring Sean Astin, Brendan Fraser and Pauly Shore. This demo VHS tape, intended for video retailers and promotional use, follows two high school outcasts who discover a frozen caveman in their backyard and attempt to pass him off as a modern teenager. As the thawed-out Link navigates the culture shock of 1990s California, chaos and hilarity ensue.
