Harakiri VHS Tape

Harakiri (1962) is a Japanese jidaigeki drama directed by Masaki Kobayashi and starring Tatsuya Nakadai, Rentarō Mikuni and Akira Ishihama. Set in 17th-century Edo, the film follows rōnin Hanshirō Tsugumo, who requests to commit seppuku at the estate of the Iyi clan. As he recounts his tragic past, a critique of feudal hypocrisy and the samurai code of honor unfolds.
