JVC HR-VP673U VCR VHS Player
The JVC HR-VP673U is a higher-spec VHS deck built around JVC’s Pro-Cision 19-micron head system with Active Video Calibration, designed to optimize playback by automatically adjusting to the characteristics of each tape. As a 4-head Hi-Fi stereo machine, it supports full-range Hi-Fi audio recording and playback, positioning it above basic mono models in JVC’s late-era lineup. SQPB compatibility allows playback of S-VHS recordings in standard VHS resolution, making it practical for mixed-format collections. Front A/V inputs provide convenient access for camcorders or secondary sources, while rear composite and RF connections support more permanent installations.
Each media player refurbished by Retrospekt is kitted with an RCA or HDMI cable so you can get straight to watching your favorite movies. To make operation convenient, a remote is included unless otherwise noted. If the device's original remote is not available, we provide a universal remote. Please note that universal remotes may present some control limitations from device to device.
