Little Miss Broadway (1938) is a musical drama film directed by Irving Cummings, starring Shirley Temple, George Murphy and Jimmy Durante. Betsy Brown, an orphan, is adopted by Pop Shea, a friend of her parents who manages a hotel for theatrical performers. The hotel’s owner, Sarah Wendling, disapproves of the show-business tenants and threatens eviction. Betsy, with the help of her friends, organizes a musical revue to showcase their talents and save their home.
