The Marantz Superscope C-204, predecessor of the iconic PMD / CP serie, is a vintage professional audio monaural cassette recorder with integrated speaker and condenser mic, a +/-20% pitch control, tone control, a integrated limiter and a VU-meter for recording level and battery condition. This classic piece of audio equipment was widely used in various professional and consumer applications, including recording studios, radio stations, educational institutions, and by audio enthusiasts for personal use.

This Superscope C-204 has been completely disassembled and inspected by our team of skilled technicians. The drive belts, idler tires and pinch wheels have all been replaced. The playback speed has been painstakingly calibrated, the volume potentiometer has been deoxidized and the tapehead has been clean and demagnetized. All outer housings have also been polished. 

Please note this little player had an entire life before Retrospekt. It will show signs of previous usage, but it is guaranteed to be working, clean, and restored.
