Philips DVP5990/37 DVD Player (B-Grade)
The Philips DVP5990/37 is a slim DVD player with HDMI output and onboard upscaling to improve picture quality on HDTVs. It supports DVD-Video, audio CDs, and a variety of digital file formats — including DivX, MP3, and JPEG — either from a disc or through the front USB port. The front panel offers basic playback controls and a standard disc tray.
On the back, the player provides HDMI, component (Y/PB/PR), and composite video outputs, along with stereo analog audio and a coaxial digital audio output for connection to external receivers.
