Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest Game Boy Advance Game

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest is a swashbuckling side-scroller for the Game Boy Advance based on the hit film of the same name. The game features two main modes of seafaring adventure. In the side-scrolling action stages, players take control of the infamous Captain Jack Sparrow as he attempts to reclaim his soul from Davy Jones. Along the way, he’ll run, jump and battle cannibals, pirates, the Royal Navy and Davy Jones’ monstrous crew across 15 islands made up of multiple maps.

Between islands, players take command of Sparrow’s ship, the Black Pearl. You’ll need to keep the crew supplied with food to prevent mutiny while upgrading cannons and stocking supplies to survive encounters with privateers and rival pirates on the open sea.

Radically different from versions released on other platforms, the Game Boy Advance edition offers a surprising amount of gameplay variety. Open-ended island exploration, ship-to-ship combat and light RPG-style upgrade mechanics allow players to approach the adventure in multiple ways.
