Vintage Refurbished [ℹ]

This camera is comparable to the original chrome and tan SX-70 in functionality and closely follows suit to the SX-70 Model 2 in all black. However, this camera has an unusual cosmetic configuration that introduces chrome components on the lens and viewfinder cover. This configuration was used by Polaroid occasionally in the 80s and is an interesting departure from the all-black or all-chrome models. Please note that this model does not have a tripod mount or strap lugs.

This is a genuine piece of vintage retro tech - refurbished and restored by Retrospekt. Our process includes:

• Deconstructing the camera to its base components
• Verifying the form and function of each piece
• Repairing and replacing pieces whenever necessary, but also...
• Retaining original pieces whenever reasonably possible
• Cleaning all optical and viewing components including lenses and fresnels
• Polishing exterior components
• Applying new genuine leather replacement coverings
• Packaging each camera in a specially made box
