The body is heavy and straightforward, with minimal cosmetic flourishes and a layout that reflects its utilitarian origins. It was designed as a practical working camera, prioritizing reliability and compatibility with a wide range of M42 lenses over refinement or compactness.
This camera has been converted to use 625 batteries. In addition, the meter mode ring is a 3D printed replacement.
