As a Type IV (metal) tape, it uses pure metal particles rather than ferric or chrome formulations, allowing for much higher magnetic density. The result is extended high-frequency response, lower noise, and greater dynamic range — especially noticeable on demanding recordings.

This tape can record 74 minutes of audio (~37 min each side).
