Sony RDR-VX555 VCR VHS and DVD Player
The Sony RDR-VX555 is a combination VHS and DVD recorder designed to bridge analog and digital home media formats during the late 2000s. Featuring a Hi-Fi stereo VHS deck alongside a DVD recorder with HDMI output and 720p/1080i upscaling, the unit supports transferring VHS tapes to DVD with one-touch dubbing functionality. Rear connections include HDMI, component video, S-Video and optical and coaxial digital audio outputs, offering compatibility with both older televisions and newer home theater setups. Its streamlined black design and dual-format recording capabilities made it a practical all-in-one solution for preserving videotape collections while integrating into modern entertainment systems.
Each media player refurbished by Retrospekt is kitted with an RCA or HDMI cable so you can get straight to watching your favorite movies. To make operation convenient, a remote is included unless otherwise noted. If the device's original remote is not available, we provide a universal remote. Please note that universal remotes may present some control limitations from device to device.
