The Sony WM-2 is a portable cassette player first introduced in 1981. It features a sleek, compact design and is known for its reliable performance and high-quality audio playback. Evolving from the TPS-L2, featuring further refinements to tape transport mechanisms and circuitry, the WM-2 ensures precise tape handling for consistent and accurate audio reproduction.

The WM-2 boasts a durable construction, making it sturdy and long-lasting. Its sleek ergonomic layout and intuitive controls provide ease of use, allowing users to effortlessly enjoy their favorite cassette tapes. The WM-2 features an auto-off actuated by opening the case lid; two headphone outputs mean you can enjoy music with a friend.

This cassette player has been expertly refurbished by our analog electronics gurus. This unit has new drive belts, a calibrated playback speed, a deoxidized volume potentiometer and a demagnetized tapehead. All components have been gingerly polished by our refurb technicians.
