The Sony Walkman WM-A12/B12 is a late-generation portable cassette player built in the familiar rectangular Walkman format that defined Sony’s tape players through the 1980s and 1990s. The unit uses a straightforward mechanical transport with top-mounted controls and a front cassette window that allows the tape reels to remain visible during playback. Like many entry-level Walkman models, it focuses on reliable playback rather than recording features, keeping the design simple and durable.
Please note that one cassette holder arm on the cassette door is broken. As a result, the door will not hold a cassette in place on both sides when the door is open, but this does not impact normal function when the cassette player is in use.
