Released in 2011, The Strokes' Angles moves through coolly clipped garage rock, downtown hooks and dry-eyed swagger, presented here on CD with the texture and pacing intact. "Under Cover of Darkness", "Machu Picchu" and "Taken for a Fool" are the standout cuts, but the atmosphere is what makes the release hold together.
