Titus (1999) is an epic historical drama directed by Julie Taymor and starring Anthony Hopkins, Jessica Lange, and Alan Cumming. Adapted from William Shakespeare's tragedy "Titus Andronicus," the film follows Roman general Titus Andronicus as he returns victorious from war, only to enter a cycle of revenge and political turmoil involving the vengeful Queen Tamora and a corrupt Roman leadership.
