Up in Smoke (1978) is a stoner comedy directed by Lou Adler and starring Cheech Marin, Tommy Chong and Strother Martin. The film follows two hapless musicians who unwittingly smuggle a van made entirely of marijuana across the U.S.-Mexico border while being pursued by an inept narcotics officer.
