I love my experience, the excitement and anticipation of waiting to get my film developed is such a nostalgic feeling. My prints and files are always processed in a timely manner and the little extras they send are a wonderful touch.
I highly recommend!
This was my first time developing photos anywhere other than a local drug store and I will only be using this service to develop my film in the future!! you can tell the photos were handled with care. I opted for a matte finish (it's never been an option for me), I was a little worried about it but everyone else in the reviews said they looked great. they came out excellent very satisfied with the turn out
It’s been a long time since I took a 35mm photo. It’s a blast, there’s a learning curve, but Retrosekt made it easy. From purchasing the camera to developing the film. Strongly recommend
I had an amazing first experience with Retrospekt. Before coming across their shop, I called around to other photo developing businesses and was immediately turned off by the lack of customer service and enthusiasm from the people i encountered when calling to confirm what services they offered. With Retrospekt, it was a complete 180 in customer service I received. They answered the phones with total professionalism and a warm friendliness I could feel thru the phone. I knew right away this is was a local business I felt comfortable spending my money at. The whole process was quick and easy & I am 100% satisfied with the finished product I received. I really appreciated the person behind the counter taking the time to research and answer my questions about an older camera I had as well. Instead of telling me to research on my own time, they took the few moments to do so with me in the store and I really appreciated that. I also love the items for sale in the store, I never knew I could find items like that in mke! so cool! I will be back and definitely recommending this to friends & family!
Pictures came out looking very clearly and thank goodness for USB option so I can carry the pictures digitally and physically instead of being limited to certain options
i’m new to film and this service makes developing and getting digital scans of my photos so easy. i’m excited to continue using retrospekt throughout my film journey :)
After dropping off my film at my local drug store, I've grown displeased with the quality. I'm so glad I found a place to send my film to people who are dedicated to processing it. I'm quite satisfied with how they turned out and the service. I think I might continue using Retrospekt for my future film developing needs! Thank you so much!
When developing film, I'm always a little worried about time scheduling, but retrospect was pretty awesome in that from start to finish it took about 3 weeks. I had film over the last 7 months; one role for each month, and each one came out great. I'll absolutely use them again because they are fast and communicative - I had chosen the wrong order because I'm still kind of new to photography, but instead of just canceling the order when they received my film they actually sent me an email let me know it would be like another 20 bucks for the correct option. I appreciated that.
Anyway, I'll use again for sure.
Always happy with my experience at retrospect. Looking forward to being able to get my film back digitally instead of with flash drive, but other than that update I’ll keep going here for my camera needs.
Just got my roll of Lomography Earl Grey 100 developed through Retrospekt’s 35mm Film Processing service, and I’m really impressed with how easy and reliable the whole experience was. You drop off your film, and Retrospekt takes care of the rest—no need to worry about shipping or tracking down a trusted lab on your own.
The scans and prints came back beautifully, with rich blacks, smooth midtones, and plenty of detail. It really brought out the classic character of the Earl Grey film stock. Everything was handled with care, and the turnaround time was solid too.
If you’re a film shooter looking for a convenient and trustworthy way to get your 35mm processed, Retrospekt is definitely worth checking out.
