Graflex Pacemaker Crown Graphic 4x5 Large Format Film Camera
The Graflex Pacemaker Crown Graphic is a large format camera introduced in 1947. The Crown Graphic was engineered for commercial photography; unlike the Speed Graphic, the Crown Graphic does not feature a focal plane shutter built into the body. By this virtue, it is lighter weight and more portable which makes it popular with today's large format photographers.
In it's day, it was used by newspaper photographers, wedding photographers and advertisers. The camera is designed to be operated either handheld or on a tripod. It has a side-mounted Kalart Rangefinder attached, which is calibrated to the provided lens.
- Format: 4x5 sheet film
- Lens: Graflex 1:4.5 f=135mm
- Lens shutter: Graflex leaf shutter, 1 second - 1/500 + bulb + time
- Focus: Manual focus, ground glass or coincidence rangefinder
