Ihagee EXA 500 35mm SLR Film Camera
The Ihagee EXA 500 is a classic 35mm film SLR camera that delivers outstanding results for film photography enthusiasts. It features rugged, built-to-last construction along with the unique design indicative of its Exakta lineage.
The EXA 500 was the last of the Exa line, and features a focal plane shutter as opposed to the "hatch type" of the earlier models. As a result, it offers a more comprehensive range of shutter speeds. The focusing screen was another major improvement of these models - a fresnel surface with central mirco-prism aid replaced the earlier plain ground glass style of for a brighter, easier to focus viewfinder image.
