Nickelodeon Time Blaster AM/FM Alarm Clock Radio
It’s slime time! Wake up ‘90s style with this Nickelodeon Time Blaster Alarm Clock. Much like the Nickelodeon Photo Blaster, everything about this alarm clock screams FUN! Released around 1996, the Time Blaster comes with a smorgasbord of silly sound effects.
The "Five Sounds" clock comes with the following:
- Eerie static from space
- Captain's countdown
- Reveille bugle call
- Cuckoo clock
- The classic '90s "Nickelodeon" jingle
The "Nine Sounds" clock comes with all of the sounds above, plus:
- Synthy video game music
- Train horn
- Someone yelling "Wake up! Wake up! Wake up!"
- Rooster crowing cock-a-doodle-do
This tricked-out timekeeper also has a tested and working AM/FM radio, so if you get sick of the sound effects, you can easily switch to Morning Edition.
So, what are all those buttons and knobs for? The big red knob on the top right is the snooze button. (So satisfying!) The purple dial on the far right is for tuning the radio, and nearby the green lever is how you turn the alarm on or off. (There’s also a fun demo feature where you can hear all the sounds at once!) Select your sound of choice and adjust the volume using the smaller purple dials in the center. The speaker is that big green circle on the far left covered by the orange Nickelodeon splat logo. Your mornings are guaranteed to be awesome with this clock at your bedside!
