I would completely recommend this company. After trying to find someone locally (Canada) to fix my limited edition Polaroid 600 camera to no avail, I came across Retrospekt. From the beginning the communication was great and my camera was fixed to new. When shipped it was shipped in a new box with instructions on how to use my camera. It was fixed quickly and returned with a list of everything that was fixed and cleaned. Shipping arrived quickly to Canada. Anyone who is looking for a professional and great service for your camera I would highly recommend Retrospekt. Thank you again.
I sent my vintage Polaroid 600 camera to Retrospekt because the flash did not work. My camera came back to me fully refurnished & working flawlessly! They send a check list of all maintenance done and all repairs also completed. It was repacked in a retrospekt box, along with a bunch of fabulous stickers :). I inherited a poloroid camera from my grandfather years ago. It worked great and the photos were spectacular. When my son was born we took so many photos of him with the poloriod we had made a book of them. One day the camera got dropped and completely stopped working. It was very sad but we decided to get one of the new ones. It was awful. The quality of the photos was terrible in comparison. I was worried that we had taken our last Polaroids for my son’s book. Then I found this repair service. I sent in the camera and a few weeks later we got it back. It looked brand new. It was actually hard to believe it was the same camera save for some little quirks that only we would notice. Inside was a full report of all the things that were done to restore the camera to its former glory. But the most important part was that the photos came out better than ever. Retrospekt saved our camera and the link that it created across 4 generations of my family. I would recommend this to anyone!

So, there's a photo I made for a virtual self-portrait exhibition. I needed the camera to make it b/c I used my 600 for the rest over a year ago before it stopped working, and the final photo in the series was an idea that came recently. I'm still checking if the light meter - during high contrast sunlight times of day - is working properly, BUT there's no doubt my 1999 Polaroid 600 is functioning again! I was floored by the way it arrived in packaging that looked like it came direct out of a factory brand-new, and when I saw that it had that Velcroed plasticine strap again I was astonished. Where do you find them? It was a dumb not-very-durable design back when, but to see it restored put a big _ _ _ smile on my face! Really, I'm astonished by what you all do. Thank you. My only wish is that you could fix the One 600, nevertheless I have more 600s to send you! Oh, and your customer service 'vibe', as the kids say, is great! I think you're super cool. See you again. I am very happy with the results of my Polaroid 600 camera repair. I sent it to Retrospekt because it was not ejecting the darkslide. Now it works perfectly! The camera came back with a list of parts that were inspected/cleaned, repaired/adjusted, or replaced, and an additional technician's note. Three parts were replaced, and two were repaired/adjusted. It was really nice to see a detailed report! Another nice touch - the camera was sent back in a beautiful new branded box, a user guide included. Many thanks to the Team!

I’m so glad I sent my camera for repair. I forgot film in it while it sat in my garage for 3+ years, corroding most of the camera insides. They fixed it literally like new, and it was fast. The communication along the way was great, and they answered any questions or concerns I had. I highly recommend
AMAZING AMAZING EXPERIENCE!!! This is my second time getting cameras repaired and looked at! I’m so so pleased every time. I blocked my cameras out of eBay and even though they said tested, you can never be too sure. And I love getting my cameras back feeling brand new.

I bought a Polaroid 600 from a thrift store without testing it first, and unfortunately, it didn’t work properly. The little red light would turn on for a bit, and the black starter photo would eject, but it wouldn’t actually take a picture. I checked with a few local repair shops, but no one would fix it. That’s when I found Retrospekt and decided to purchase their repair package. They were incredibly kind and communicative, especially when I needed to update my shipping information. The whole process was smooth and professional. Their customer service was excellent, and now my camera works great! I'm glad I can trust them again if I ever run into this issue in the future. Highly recommend!

Just one word, Amazing! i sent my polaroid 600 from Australia to get a full service, i wanted to give it a go. What i was not expecting was to get my camera fully serviced, with a new box, a new manual, a service sheet, a bunch of stickers... and the camera looks brand new. To be fair if i was in the US i would send more... if you're looking to get your polaroid a fresh clean and service, don't think twice !

I was pleasantly surprised with how I received my camera. It was like I bought a new one! I like the overall experience and everything that was done to repair it. The only thing that made me give a 4 star was the responsiveness from your team at the beginning of shipping a receiving. It took awhile for me to receive a confirmation that it was received and added to the queue after USPS said it was actually delivered. I’m not sure if it was because it was around the holidays or what, but I was getting nervous that it actually wasn’t received. Everything else was a great experience.
Awesome work. My polariod works likes a charm now. It had been sitting on a shelf since it stopped working and ive been missing it so much but now we use it all the time. Really made our christmas this year.
Camera is not working. Has black film coming out with picture and picture is not developed.
True professionals!!!! I sent in 2 older model Polaroids that both had problems with the flash as well as ejection and some minor things here and there but what I got back was amazing. I mean these things are so cleaned and fixed up I had to make sure they were the ones I sent them they look brand new. They also sent the cameras back all nicely packaged and with a list of the repairs that were done. I would recommend them 100x over. I’m a happy customer
My Barbie camera from my childhood looks as good as new! We tried fixing it for years and couldn’t get it to work, so thrilled it came back cleaned up and working beautifully. Fast turn around too! Thank you guys!!!
