This vintage Polaroid camera is a bit of an enigma. Coming from a former Polaroid employee, we can confirm that it would have been painted by Polaroid decades ago, but certainly is not a model that came to market. Polaroid did experiment with different painting configurations of their cameras, but commercial models typically only have a painted apron. The gold paint does look similar to the 50th anniversary edition cameras, but the glossy red is an unfamiliar medium. It's very Iron Man, don't you agree?

This camera is part of the collection from a former Polaroid employee. Carefully stored for decades in Boston, these cameras and other paraphernalia eventually made their way to Retrospekt. We are slowly releasing bits and pieces from this incredible collection, much of which is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own with pieces we've never seen before.

This is a genuine piece of vintage retro tech - refurbished and restored by Retrospekt. We have left the cosmetic components of this camera alone, and have only made the repairs necessary to have a properly functioning camera.
