Polaroid SX-70 Prototype "Camera" Instant Film Camera

Polaroid infamously dubbed their early models as "Camera" until a proper name could be established. This camera is an early prototype of the future Pronto! series. It is in excellent cosmetic condition (sans a neck strap), and is functioning properly. This camera performs best in high lighting or with a flash bar (sold separately).

This camera is part of the collection from a former Polaroid employee. Carefully stored for decades in Boston, these cameras and other paraphernalia eventually made their way to Retrospekt. We are slowly releasing bits and pieces from this incredible collection, much of which is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to own with pieces we've never seen before.

This is camera is in functional condition, and we have left the original parts as-is, which are all in nice cosmetic condition.
