Wonderful replacement leather, brought a worn out SX-70 right back to life!

Everything that I've purchased from Retrospekt from a converted to 600 SX-70, a vintage Polaroid case and now this leather strap has exceeded expectations. Their grading system is accurate. Grade A is indeed an A. Their site keeps you in the loop with your orders. They earned the trust to be a "go to" site for my instant camera needs.

Such a beautiful piece of leather and so easy to apply. The most difficult part was getting the old leather off the camera, but once cleaned the retrospect, leather applied very easily, particularly because of its stiff texture. I’ve used other leather coverings in the past, and there is no comparison to the superior quality of retrospect’s leather.
My SX – 70 Alpha still had its original skin on when purchased. It had held up for a very long time, but was beginning to crumble. With just a bit of time with a hot hairdryer I was able to peel it off easily. The new leather I received from retrospect is absolutely gorgeous. It was thick and not flimsy; once I removed the old skin and cleaned the exterior of the camera with some glue gone and alcohol the new skin was easily applied, particularly because of its thickness and stiffness, not like other skins that I’ve applied in the past that are very flimsy and tricky to apply because they end up sticking places that you don’t want them to stick. I’m very proud of the job I did and it looks just as good as the camera that I had sent to them for a refurbishment if I do say so myself. I have since after applying this one last week bought two more black ones and two more brown ones for my other cameras. For the alpha I ordered a tripod hole to be punched into it and it lined up perfectly. couldn’t be happier.

This skin was beautiful and surprisingly very easy and fast to apply! I was a little worried about potential air bubbles but I had no problems at all! This was definitely the upgrade my camera needed.
Skins were very high quality and very easy to install. Looks phenomenal and functions very well. Make sure to get all excess glue off before so it sticks the best. Very pleased with the product!
