Turn heads with this Sony TCM-866V cassette-corder and vintage-inspired orange headphones. Take a break from digital media and live in the moment. Rewind, fast-forward, flip the tape, watch it spin. Listen to an album all the way through. Slow down and embrace the analog experience that is music on magnetic tape.

This TCM-866V has been completely disassembled and inspected by our team of skilled technicians. The drive belts, idler tires and pinch wheels have all been replaced. The playback speed has been painstakingly calibrated, the volume potentiometer has been deoxidized and the tapehead has been clean and demagnetized. All outer housings have also been polished. 

Please note: This cassette player is a single-channel mono-playback unit. When using a standard pair of stereo headphones, the sound will only generate from one speaker (usually the left side). The tape heads on mono recorder units are also usually not set up for reading stereo tapes. Thus, the sound heard will only be from one channel (i.e. the stereo signal will not be mixed down to mono). If listening to audio that has stereo panning, you will only hear what is on one channel.

This little player had an entire life before Retrospekt. It will show signs of previous usage, but it is guaranteed to be working, clean, and restored.
