While I originally bought this device to achieve a Jacob Elordi-esque level of performative public exposure, I quickly realized that this cassette player took me much farther, into a tier of aura maxing I didn’t think was possible. People literally turn and look when I’m listening on the train. One woman stopped dead in her tracks on the street. The jealousy and nostalgia fuels my every waking moment and heals all wounds from childhood. The amount of coolness from the headphones alone could supply electric power to a small town for over a year. Buy one and begin your own aura farm today!
It's exactly what I wanted.
It came so quickly, and works great. I’ve noticed however that when I try to use other headphones with them that the audio gets a little funky. But otherwise the audios great, and I’ve had nothing but a good experience with it
It’s in good shape, it works like a dream. I just hear a tiny bit of feed back but that’s from the head phones for sure. Other than that. It was an excellent purchase

I love my Walkman. It's a little glitchy but it may be the aux cord I'm using. In most respects it sounds great and I'm very satisfied. I have a large collection of 1980's & 90's radio shows that I recorded back in the day and it brings me such delight to listen to them again in my car with proper tape bias and stereo! Thanks for keeping the dream alive. -Brad

I love my Sony Walkman from Retrospekt! After trying out a “modern” player and being disappointed (it broke in various ways after just a few months), I wanted to try a refurbished one. The player is iconic. Refurbished to it’s original classic look, as if it was fresh out of the original packaging. The unboxing experience was awesome—unveiling the product for the first time was a nice experience. The buttons are chunky as expected and very tactile. My one concern is the aux port sound quality is not great when twisting the aux cable even slightly. As long as you can maintain the cable in the same position quality is not jeopardized.

When I first ordered this Walkman it didn't quiet work as I hoped. The audio was more distorted than I would have liked. But the extremely kind and professional customer service team quickly worked to make this right. I shipped the Walkman back to them and they 100% fixed the distortion and for free. These people truly value their customers and all I can say is wow.

There’s quite the stigma around used items, especially electronics for being broken or dysfunctional. However Retrospekt really put their all into these devices such as this cassette player. I’ve been using it and taking it around wherever I go for the past week and has operated without error. The restoration is phenomenal and while I do not know the state of this particular device before it’s refurbishment. I could swear that this was a new device delivered straight from the factory. There are obviously very minor scratches on the clear plastic window but other than that this is a truly amazing machine handled by a very caring and dedicated team. Would encourage anyone who is looking to get back into personal cassette playing systems to purchase this. $100 is well worth the money, definitely more well spent than on the cheap Chinese portable cassette players you find on amazon.
