My walkman arrived and I was so excited to try it out! The first thing I noticed was the quality packaging, it's a great touch to have your own aesthetic especially for refurbished goods. I also love that they sent a tape to play immediately. My only point of criticism, is that the tape they sent was quite old (understandable) and worn to the point that it didn't want to play properly, which really dampened the excitement until I could get another tape in it to trouble shoot.
This is a very nice Walkman. The sound is excellent. I paired with a Koss headphones that I bought. The one’s that come with the Walkman are ok but you will get full music experience with this headphones.
man, im so glad that retrospekt exists and that they're keeping wonderful little things (like my new walkman ;) ) alive and well. Listening to music with something more tangible than a touch screen or a browser window is a funner, more engaging experience. And the fact that I'm able to listen on a vintage build that runs like it was made yesterday is even better. Thanks a million!
Absolutely amazing!! The shipping only took a couple days and was delivered with care. It works perfectly and sounds amazing. I haven’t stopped using it since I received it. Definitely worth the purchase and love it so much. Only thing was when I first opened it the playback speed was a little slow but with the guide on Retrospekts website I was able to fix it with no problem at all and I have no experience with portable cassette players at all.

Amazing packaging and refurbishing job. Had small issue with playback speed and customer service had me send it in for free repair and it works perfectly now. Best customer service I’ve ever seen. Couldn’t have gotten a better product!
