Talking Bible Portable Player
The Talking Bible is a portable cassette-based player designed exclusively for narrated scripture. Please note this player *only* plays the Bible and has no mechanism to open it up and change the tape.
Its book-shaped housing, finished in textured black with a gold-toned side panel, mirrors a traditional Bible while concealing a built-in speaker and dedicated playback system. Controls along the side handle play, rewind, fast forward and stop, with a headphone jack and external power input for private listening. It's designed to play the Bible only, with no provision for standard cassette use.

Our vintage refurbished players are professionally restored by a skilled team of technicians to ensure they perform like new while retaining their original charm. Each unit is carefully disassembled, inspected and cleaned. Key components such as drive belts, idler tires and pinch wheels are replaced, playback speed is calibrated, and the tapehead is cleaned and demagnetized. The volume potentiometer is deoxidized, and outer housings are polished for a clean finish.
Please note, these players have lived a full life before arriving at Retrospekt and may show minor signs of previous use. However, every unit is guaranteed to be fully functional, clean and ready to deliver a reliable and authentic retro experience.
