Lovingly called "the OG" by the Retrospekt team, this camera is what made the magic SX-70 famous. The chrome body and caramel leather skins are instantly recognizable, and the collapsible body, manual focusing system and exposure adjustment options give it a perfect blend of form and precision still sought by photographers today.

As more interesting i-Type film is introduced at a cheaper price point, SX-70 and 600 film users are often left out. The Power Pack is an external power source fueled by 4x AAA batteries that allows you to shoot I-Type film in folding Polaroid SX-70 and SLR 680 cameras. The Power Pack also features a standard 1/4" tripod mount and an optional strap lug for attaching your own camera strap. 

When using i-Type film in an SX-70 calibrated camera, you need to install the provided ND filter onto the top of the i-Type film pack. 

Please note that the chrome finish on this device is painted. While it is an excellent match to the original chrome folding cameras, the finish will appear different due to the variance in material.

This is a genuine piece of vintage retro tech - refurbished and restored by Retrospekt. Our process includes:

• Deconstructing the camera to its base components
• Verifying the form and function of each piece
• Repairing and replacing pieces whenever necessary, but also...
• Retaining original pieces whenever reasonably possible
• Cleaning all optical and viewing components including lenses and fresnels
• Polishing exterior components
• Applying new Italian leather replacement coverings
• Packaging each camera in a specially made box
