Incredible work! I didn’t know my Polaroid is supposed to be this smooth!
I sent in my SX-70 because I had dropped it and it stopped working. Retrospekts’ customer service was responsive and timely. The team left my camera in better shape than when I had bought it. The only thing that threw me off a little was the leather being replaced… I didn’t realize that was included in the repair and I kinda miss the old leather. I must have missed it in the description, so just something to note if you’re thinking about sending your camera in for a repair :) Other than that, I am very happy!
Top quality work! Really happy with the build and presentation. The final result is worth every cent, I would not hesitate to use them again!
I just received my repaired SX-70 and it works better than before! I shot hundreds of images with this camera and also dropped it a few times, before the repair. It was a quick turnaround and I went out immediately after getting it back. Everything works great!
I'm super impressed with the service Retrospekt did on my Polaroid SX-70!! The sheet they provided with the returned camera was incredibly helpful in showing what was inspected, repaired and/or replaced. Great job! the attention to details was great as you see from the video. the outside leather panels were replaced perfectly and the viewfinder, lens were cleaned and the camera works again!!! I’ve had this camera for 25 years, so I was honestly nervous about shipping it out for repair. But it came back looking almost brand new and works flawlessly now. I got an SX-70 secondhand, when I loaded film, it was dead. The camera was dusty, had mystery residue all over it, and a broken film door. I sent it in to retrospekt, the camera came back looking BRAND NEW. I absolutely recommend this service to anyone with an old polaroid. Customer service was responsive, polite, and the turnaround was better than I anticipated.

What an incredible restoration and presentation!! Could not be happier and really like the box and extra things it came with, especially the report telling me exactly what was fixed replaced and cleaned on it.
I sent in two cameras to be repaired. Both of the cameras our model one.One of the cameras wasn’t playing nice and the pictures were totally blown out and the other camera, the mirror was stuck. Both cameras were repaired and sent back faster than I expected and looking like they are brand new! I could not be happier with the results. They were repackaged into brand new boxes. Retrospekt did a wonderful job getting my SX-70 repaired it was no longer functioning after something went wrong with its main gear, they fixed the door latch and it looks and functions beautifully now. Retrospekts customer support has some of the most friendliest and passionate folks I’ve had the pleasure to email back and forth with that left me with a lot of confidence.
